The author investigates extension to a full complex neighborhood of a CR map \(f:M\rightarrow M_1\), where \(M\subset\mathbb C^N\) and \(M_1\subset\mathbb C^{N_1}\) are generic analytic CR submanifolds. Dropping the assumption that \(f\) is a CR submersion, which was done in [\textit{S. M. Webster}, Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 86, 236--240 (1982; Zbl 0505.32014)], \(f\) is assumed to have constant rank and \(M_1\) is assumed to satisfy a condition refining \(k\)-nondegeneracy in the sense of \textit{M. S. Baouendi}, \textit{X. Huang} and \textit{L. P. Rothschild} [Invent. Math. 125, 13--36 (1996; Zbl 0855.32009)]. In this setting, the main result states that if \(f\) holomorphically extends to a wedge, it also holomorphically extends to a full complex neighborhood of \(M\) in \(\mathbb C^N\).
