A classical formula of Lelieuvre for surfaces in affine 3-space was generalized to hypersurfaces by \textit{A.-M. Li}, \textit{K. Nomizu} and \textit{C. Wang} [Result. Math. 20, No. 3/4, 682--690 (1991; Zbl 0758.53004)]; this formula locally determines a nondegenerate hypersurface in terms of its conormal map and the affine metric. The author states and proves a Lelieuvre formula for affine immersions of arbitrary codimension. For this, an appropriate generalization of the conormal map to arbitrary codimension is essential.
