    The paper concerns with the norm convergence of the sequence of the normalized iterates for an analytic function defined on the unit disk. The function is assumed to be forward invariant and fixes the origin. \textit{P. Bourdon} [Contemp. Math. 213, 1-10 (1998; Zbl 0897.30010)] asked the question: when is the sequence of the normalized iterates convergent to its Koenigs map in the norm of \(H^p\)? Obviously a necessary condition is that the Koenigs map is in \(H^p\). \textit{P. Bourdon} shows that this condition is also sufficient if the analytic function is univalent. The author of the paper under review shows that the univalence requirement can be dropped. Another interesting result obtained in the paper is that for an arbitrary self-map, the Koenigs map is always in \(L^P_a\) for some \(p > 0\).
