The Lieb-Thirring inequality bounds certain moments of the negative eigenvalues of a one-particle Schrödinger operator by the corresponding classical phase space moment. The aim of this paper is to study such inequalities for operator-valued potentials. First, the inequality is proved in one dimension and after this a suitable induction proof gets the full result in all dimensions. It turns out that the coefficients in the Lieb-Thirring inequality are independent of the dimension.
