Segre embedding and related maps and immersions in differential geometry (Q1419583)

The maps and immersions are considered constructed in ways similar to the Segre embedding of the product of two complex projective spaces of dimensions \(h\) and \(p\) into the \((h+ p+ hp)\)-dimensional complex projective space with Fubini-Study metric of constant holomorphic sectional curvature. Mostly the results from the author's works published in 1981--2002 are presented again, now with some complementary explanations, but without proofs. Typical are the paragraphs: CR-warped products and partial Segre CR-immersions; Complex extensors, Lagrangian submanifolds and Segre embedding; Convolutions and Euclidean Segre maps; Skew Segre embedding; Tensor product immersions and Segre embedding. Six of the presented theorems are taken from the author's papers indicated in the References as ``to appear''. The theorems in the paper are illustrated by 17 examples. The list of references contains 52 items.
