Let \(A\) denote a sectorial operator on a Banach space \(X.\) To investigate the maximal regularity of the associated Cauchy problem, it is known that interpolation spaces have an important role. In this paper, the authors study some real interpolation spaces of continuous, vector-valued functions. Their result is that if \(D(A)\) is the domain of \(A\) endowed with the graph norm, then \(C ([0,1];\left(X,D(A)\right)_{\theta,\infty})\) is a subspace of \(\left(C\left([0,1]; X\right),C\left([0,1]; D(A)\right)\right)_{\theta,\infty}.\) They show by means of examples on \(X=c_0\) and \(X=l^2\) that the inclusion is in general strict.
