Concerning the study of Riemannian foliations with complex leaves on Kähler manifolds, the author is interested in the non-totally geodesic case. He proves the following rigidity theorem: Let \((M,g,J)\) be a compact Kähler manifold. If \(M\) carries a Riemannian foliation \(\mathcal {F}\) with complex leaves, then \(M\) is locally isometric and biholomorphic to a Riemannian product \(M_{1} \times M_{2}\) of Kähler manifolds where \(M_{1}\) carries a totally geodesic Riemannian foliation with complex leaves and \(M_{2}\) carries a Riemannian foliation with complex leaves which is transversely integrable. Moreover, the foliation \(\mathcal {F}\) is the Riemannian product of the latter. As a consequence, one infers that on a compact, simply connected, irreducible Kähler manifold, any Riemannian foliation with complex leaves is either totally geodesic or transversely integrable. Some remarks on previous results are also included in the introduction.
