Fano threefolds with Picard number 2 in positive characteristic (Q1433495)

The paper under review gives a full classification of Fano 3-folds with Picard number 2 in positive characteristic. The classification is equivalent to the characteristic zero case obtained by \textit{S. Mori} and \textit{S. Mukai} [in: Algebraic and topological theories. Kinokuniya, Tokyo, 496--545 (1986; Zbl 0800.14021)]. The author describes the possible wild structure and as a by product gives a new example of a wild conic bundle with Picard number 3. The classification is based on the existence of lines, [\textit{N. I. Shepherd-Barron}, Compositio Math. 105, No.~3, 237--265 (1997; Zbl 0889.14021)] and Kollár's classification of extremal rays in positive characteristic [\textit{J. Kollár}, Ann. Sci. École Norm. Sup. (4) 24, No.~3, 339--361 (1991; Zbl 0753.14036)].
