Ein Beweis des bekannten \textit{Lüroth-Clebsch}schen Satzes über die Schnitte, welche man in einer komplexen \(z\)-Ebene führen muß, um eine vorgegebene algebraische Funktion von \(z\) eindeutig zu machen; der Beweis ist aber keineswegs einfacher als z. B. der, welchen \textit{Jordan} in seinem Cours d'analyse auf zwei Seiten darstellt.
