In the study of function space structures in fuzzy topology the concepts of pointwise convergence, continuous continuity and even continuity play the central role. Previously in a series of papers these concepts were defined for fuzzy convergence spaces and some related categories; these definitions were done in terms of prefilters [see e.g. \textit{E. Lowen}, \textit{R. Lowen}, and \textit{P. Wuyts}, ibid. 40, No. 2, 347-373 (1991; Zbl 0728.54001); \textit{Y. Peng}, Topological structure of a fuzzy function space -- the pointwise convergent topology and compact open topology, Kexue Tongbao, Foreign Lang. Ed. 29, No. 3, 289-292 (1984); \textit{G. Jäger}, Quaest. Math. 23, No. 2, 203-217 (2000; Zbl 0962.54005), etc.]. The aim of this paper is to show that in case of fuzzy neighbourhood spaces (in the sense of Lowen) all these concepts can be described entirely in terms of usual filters.
