The main result of the paper shows that there exists a measurable function \(f\) possessing both continuous SCP-majorant and minorant on the closed interval \([0, 1]\), but \(f\) is not integrable in the sense of the SCP-integral of Burkill [see \textit{J. C. Burkill}, Proc. Lond. Math. Soc., III. Ser. 1, 46-51 (1951; Zbl 0042.28403)].
