For the numerical solution of an initial value problem for a system of ordinary differential equations, the authors extend a deformed sixth-order Taylor series method derived earlier by the first author for a single equation. A new type of vector product and quotient are introduced, which allow to apply the method, directly to a system of differential equations. The method has order at least 6 and is \(A\)-stable. Numerical experiments are performed for three different initial value problems.
