Let \(g_0\) be a real Lie algebra, \(g=g_0\otimes_R \mathbb{C}\) the complexification of \(g_0\), \(\tau :g\rightarrow g\) conjugation with respect to \(g_0\). \(\tau^2=id\) (the restriction of \(\tau\) to \(g_0\) is the identity map). A CR-structure on \(g_0\) is a pair \((p,J)\) where \(J\) is a complex structure operator on the vector subspace \(p\subset g_0\). Obviously, the space \(q=\{X-iJX:X\in p\}\) is a complex subalgebra such that \(g=q\oplus \tau q\oplus V\) where the complex vector subspace \(\widehat{V}\) is spanned by the real vectors \(X_1,\dots,X_r\). Conversely, the decomposition \(g=q\oplus \tau q\oplus V\) defines a CR-structure. The case \(r=0\) was studied by \textit{A. Morimoto} [C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris 242, 1101-1103 (1956; Zbl 0070.26003)]. The author defines a new Lie product on \(p\). This construction gives rise to a classification of CR-structures in two important cases: the solvable and the Levi-flat ones.
