In this paper commuting pairs of Hamiltonian functions with quadratic and linear terms in the momenta are considered and conditions on the coefficients are given in order for these functions to commute. The case of two degrees of freedom where the Hamiltonians are completely integrable is considered and a complete solution for the coefficients is found up to a second order differential equation for the potential function.
