Eigenvectors of Lax matrices, spaces of hyperelliptic curves and action coordinates for Moser systems (Q1577153)

Following the idea of \textit{S.~P.~Novikov} and \textit{A.~P.~Veselov} [Proc. Steklov Inst. Math. 165, 53-65 (1985), translation from Tr. Mat. Inst. Steklova 165, 49-61 (1984; Zbl 0565.58022)], the author describes a Poisson structure on some open subset of the relative Jacobian over a moduli space of hyperelliptic curves. Using this construction, the author calculates the action coordinates for some Moser systems (geodesics on quadrics and geodesic flows on small coadjoint orbits of the rotation group \(SO(N)\)).
