The study is concerned with a problem of minimization of \(t\)-redundancy of a family of fuzzy sets. Given a family of fuzzy sets \(A_1,A_2,\dots, A_c\), this redundancy expresses a degree to which some element of the family is a subset of the union of the others (all pertinent operations in this definition are induced by a certain \(t\)-norm). The minimization of the \(t\)-redundancy realized by means of multiplicative functions is studied in detail. It is shown that this problem does not have a unique solution. Furthermore, the problem is studied in relation to fuzzy points induced by a certain equality relation. The \(t\)-redundancy is discussed in the setting of the zero-order fuzzy controller in terms of Sugeno (the one that involves ``if-then'' rules with a constant numeric conclusion).
