A one-dimensional control system of the form \(Q(s)x = N(s)u\) where \(x\) is the generalized coordinate of the system, \(Q(s)\) and \(N(s)\) are polynomials in the differentiation operator, and \(u\) is a control function obeying an integral quadratic constraint, is considered. The author examines the problem of synthesis of a control \(u^*(x,sx)\) ensuring a stable periodic regime with the given frequency and maximal amplitude.
