It is generally known that a population's dynamics and the life history of the individuals forming it are reciprocally influencing one another. The subject is fascinating, indeed. Thus, structured models of populations have been elaborated, as reflecting the impact of individuals' physiological state on the populations' dynamics. Numerical methods -- the Lax-Wendroff method, the box method, a specific scheme -- are considered in this study, along with several test problems, involving non-trivial equilibria, periodic solutions and various growth functions. A special paragraph is devoted to computational efficiency studies, for numerical integration, followed by a section analyzing the possible errors (error analysis). An up-to-date reference list should also be mentioned, as an efficient support for all those interested in such problems.
