Let \({\mathcal D}_m\) denote the space of infinitely differentiable functions of \(x\in\mathbb{R}^m\) with compact support and \({\mathcal D}_m'\) the corresponding distribution space. Let \(\Delta\) denote the Laplacian and \(\Delta r^{-k}\) be the distribution defined by \[ \langle\Delta r^{-k},\phi\rangle= \langle r^{-k},\Delta\phi\rangle, \] where \(k< m\) and \(\phi\in{\mathcal D}_m\). In this paper the author defines the product \(\Delta r^{-k}\cdot\delta\) where \(\delta\) is the Dirac distribution, as a non-commutative neutrix product and proves that \[ \Delta r^{-2k}\cdot\delta= {k(2k+ 2- m)\over 2^k(k+ 1)! m(m+ 2)\cdots(m+ 2k)} \Delta^{k+1}\delta \] and that \(\Delta r^{1- 2k}\cdot\delta= 0\) for any positive integer \(k\).
