This paper studies the graded Noetherian property in pullbacks of graded integral domains. This paper aims to generalize many of the results from \textit{S. Gabelli} and \textit{E. Houston} [Mich. Math. J. 44, No. 1, 99--123 (1997; Zbl 0896.13007); Math. Appl. Dordr. 520, 199--227 (2000; Zbl 1094.13501)] to graded integral domains. Let \(\Gamma\) be a non-zero, torsionless, commutative, cancellative monoid. Let \(T= \bigoplus_{\alpha \in \Gamma}T_\alpha\) be a \(\Gamma\)-graded integral domain with \(T_\alpha \neq \{0\}\) for all \(\alpha\in \Gamma\). Let \(M= \bigoplus_{\alpha \in \Gamma}M_\alpha\) be a maximal homogeneous ideal of \(T\) and let \(k=T/M\). Let \(\phi: T \to k\) be the canonical homomorphism. Let \(D= \bigoplus_{\alpha \in \Gamma}D_\alpha\) be a graded subring of \(k\), \(F\) the the homogeneous quotient field of \(D\), and \(R=\phi^{-1}(D)\). The authors begin by showing that if \(R_\alpha=\{x \in T_\alpha \mid \phi(x) \in D_\alpha \}\) for each \(\alpha \in \Gamma\), then \(R=\bigoplus_{\alpha \in \Gamma}R_\alpha\). If \(I\) is a proper homogeneous ideal of \(R\), then it is shown that \(I\) is finitely generated if and only if \(\phi(I)\) and \(IT\) are finitely generated. \(R\) is said to be a graded-Noetherian domain if \(R\) satisfies the ascending chain condition on its homogeneous ideals. Finally, it is shown that \(R\) is graded-Noetherian if and only if \(T\) is graded Noetherian, \(D=F\), and \(K\) is a free \(F\)-module of finite rank. The paper is very concisely written with many other interesting results. Furthermore there are several nice examples provided along the way which can illuminate many of these properties investigated.
