The authors consider the initial boundary value problem with nonlocal integral boundary conditions for a system of semilinear parabolic equations of the form: \[ u_{t}=\Delta u+c_{1}(x,t)v^{p}, \;\;v_{t}=\Delta v+c_{2}(x,t)u^{q}, \;x\in \Omega, \;t>0,\eqno{(1)} \] \[ \frac{\partial u}{\partial \nu}=\int_{\Omega}k_{1}(x,y,t)u^{m}(x,y,t)d\Omega,\;\frac{\partial v}{\partial \nu}=\int_{\Omega}k_{1}(x,y,t)v^{m}(x,y,t)d\Omega,\;\eqno{(2)} \] \[ \;u(x,0)=u_{0},\;\;v(x,0)=v_{0}, \eqno{(3)} \] where \(p,q,m,n\) are positive constants, \(\nu\) is the unit outward normal to \(\partial \Omega\), \(\Omega\subset {\mathbb R}^{N}\) is a bounded domain with smooth boundary, and \(v_{0},u_{0}\in C^{1}(\overline{\Omega})\), \(c_{i}, k_{i}\) are nonnegative continuous functions. Conditions for the existence and nonexistence of global solutions to the problem (1)-(3) are established. The obtained results depend on the behavior of the functions \(c_{i}(x, t)\) and \(k_{i}(x, y, t)\), \(i = 1, 2\), as \(t\to +\infty\). The proof relies on constructing upper and lower solutions and the comparison principle.
