The paper under review deals with the investigation of higher order convergence rates in the theory of homogenization for viscous Hamilton-Jacobi equations. The authors consider the model problem \[ u^\epsilon_t-\epsilon \mathrm{tr}\Big( A(x/\epsilon)D^2u^\epsilon \Big)+H\Big(Du^\epsilon, x/\epsilon\Big)=0 \quad \mathrm{in }\;\mathbb{R}^n \times ]0,+\infty[\, , \] \[ u^\epsilon=g \quad \mathrm{on }\;\mathbb{R}^n \times \{t=0\}\, , \] where the diffusion matrix \(A\) is periodic and uniformly elliptic, the Hamiltonian \(H\) is periodic in the spatial variable while it is convex and grows quadratically in the gradient variable, and the initial data \(g\) is convex. They perform homogenization and after establishing regularity theory of interior correctors, they obtain higher order convergence rates. Finally, they extend the obtained results to the case of a fully nonlinear viscous Hamilton-Jacobi equation of the type \[ u^\epsilon_t+H\Big( \epsilon D^2u^\epsilon, Du^\epsilon, x/\epsilon\Big)=0\quad \mathrm{in }\;\mathbb{R}^n \times ]0,+\infty[\, , \] \[ u^\epsilon=g \quad \mathrm{on }\;\mathbb{R}^n \times \{t=0\}\, . \] For Parts I and II see [the authors, Arch.
