In this paper the authors study the problem of the global stabilization of the initial boundary value problems for the 3D Navier-Stokes-Voigt equations, for the strongly damped nonlinear wave equation, for the nonlinear wave equation with a nonlinear damping term, for the Benjamin-Bona-Mahoni-Burgers equation under the Dirichlet boundary condition and for the Korteweg-de Vries-Burgers equation under periodic boundary conditions. A finite-parameters feedback control algorithm for stabilizing solutions of all the mentioned equations is introduced. This algorithm utilizes some finite parameters in the form of feedback control to stabilize the relevant solutions. For the sake of clarity one focuses on the case of low Fourier modes feedback controller.
