Boundary value problems with Atiyah-Patodi-Singer type conditions and spectral triples (Q1676074)

The authors study closed extensions (realizations) of pseudodifferential operators on smooth sections of a vector bundle over a smooth compact manifold. Accordingly, the second section deals with properties of Boutet de Monvel's calculus, Toeplitz type operators and ellipticity. The third section focuses on the definition of APS-type boundary condition of an operator (a kind of the generalization of the classical APS condition) and realizations properties of elliptic/normal operators. The fourth section concentrates on self-adjoint realizations (resp. spectral triples based) of the Dirac operator, besides the authors furnish an interesting example. The article is equipped with an appendix dealing with ellipticity and Fredholm properties.
