The literature shows a long list of articles studying unconditional bases in tensor products of Banach spaces. Let \(E\) be a Banach space with an unconditional basis \((e_i)_{i \in\mathbb N}\). This article studies so-called `main diagonal spaces' within the following four injective tensor products: \(\check{\bigotimes}_{n,\varepsilon}E\), \(\check{\bigotimes}_{n,s,\varepsilon}E\), \(\check{\bigotimes}_{n,|\varepsilon|}E\), and \(\check{\bigotimes}_{n,s,|\varepsilon|}E\), i.e., the \(n\)-fold `full' injective tensor product, its \(n\)-fold `symmetric' version, and its analogs within the category of Banach lattices, the \(n\)-fold `positive' and the \(n\)-fold `symmetric positive' injective tensor product. The main result proves that the span of the diagonal tensors \(e_i \otimes \dots \otimes e_i\), \(i \in\mathbb N\), forms an unconditional basic sequence in all four tensor products, and that its four closures (the main diagonal spaces) are pairwise isometrically isomorphic. The crucial technical tool is a well-known averaging technique using Rademacher random variables.
