The paper deals with the system \[ \begin{cases} &-\Delta u+\lambda_1 u=\mu\left(|x|^{-1}*u^2\right)u+\beta\left(|x|^{-1}*v^2\right)u\\ &-\Delta v+\lambda_2 v=\nu\left(|x|^{-1}*v^2\right)v+\beta\left(|x|^{-1}*u^2\right)v\\ &u,v>0,\;u,v \in H^1(\mathbb{R}^3) \end{cases} \] of coupled nonlinear Hartree equations with nonlocal interaction. It is always assumed that \(\lambda _1, \lambda_2, \mu, \nu>0\) and \(\beta\in \mathbb{R}\). The first result states that solutions are radially symmetric if \(\beta\geq0\). The second deals with the existence vs. non-existence of a radial ground state depending on \(\beta\). Uniqueness of the ground state is proved for \(\beta>0\) small, more can be said if \(\lambda_1=\lambda_2\). These results correspond to known results for the local system where the convolution terms \(|x|^{-1}*u^2\) and \(|x|^{-1}*v^2\) are replaced by \(u^2\) and \(v^2\), respectively. The last theorem concerns the behavior of radial ground state solutions as \(\beta\to-\infty\). It is proved that the energy of the solutions and at least one component blow up, unlike the local setting.
