Let \(X\) be a locally compact topological space, \((Y,d)\) be a boundedly compact metric space. Let \(Q(X,Y)\) be the set of quasicontinuous functions from \(X\) to \(Y\) equipped with the topology of uniform convergence on compact sets. In the paper under review, the authors give a definition of a subset of \(F(X,Y)\) being densely equiquasicontinuous\(^{*}\) and use it to prove a new version of Ascoli-type theorems for quasicontinuous functions. In particular, they prove that a subset \(\mathcal{E}\) of the space \(Q(X,Y)\) is compact if and only if \(\mathcal{E}\) is closed, pointwise bounded, densely equiquasicontinuous\(^{*}\) and supported at points of nonlocal boundedness of \(\mathcal{E}\).
