Following an effective method (Mc Dougall and Wotherspoon) for solving a scalar nonlinear equation, the authors propose a new uni-parametric family of multipoint methods with memory for solving systems of nonlinear equations and further extended using the weight function approach. Precise analysis for \(R\)-order of convergence of the explored iterative algorithms is conducted. Numerical experiments show that, on some constraints, the results are better than some of the widely covered and used in practice methods of numerical analysis.
