Descriptions of the solutions of the truncated Hausdorff scalar moment problem are well known, see [\textit{M. G. Krein} and \textit{A. A. Nudel'man}, The Markov moment problem and extremal problems. Ideas and problems of P. L. Cebysev and A. A. Markov and their further development. Translated by D. Louvish. Providence, RI: American Mathematical Society (AMS) (1977; Zbl 0361.42014)]. The matrix version of the truncated Hausdorff moment problem was studied in [\textit{A. E. Choque Rivero} et al., in: Interpolation, Schur functions and moment problems. Basel: Birkhäuser. 121--173 (2006; Zbl 1117.44001)]. Each solution of this problem can be representated as a matrix continued fraction with so-called Dyukarev-Stieltjes parameters, similar to those in Stieltjes continued fractions. The author finds a matrix continued fraction representation for the extremal solutions of the truncated Hausdorff matrix moment problem.
