The purpose of this paper is to study dynamical properties of the cubic lowest Landau level equation. The study is motivated which by models arising in the behavior of fast rotating Bose-Einstein condensates. The main result establishes bounds on the decay of general stationary solutions. Next, the authors are interested in the classification of stationary waves with a finite number of zeros. Finally, by tools of variational analysis, the authors describe the corresponding stable stationary waves.
