Summary: The purpose of this paper is to prove some fixed point results for mapping without continuity condition on Takahashi convex metric space as an application of synthetic approaches to fixed point problems of \textit{M. Angrisani} and \textit{M. Clavelli} [Ann. Mat. Pura Appl. (4) 170, 1--12 (1996; Zbl 0870.54046)]. Our results are generalizations in Banach space of fixed point results proved in [\textit{W. A. Kirk} and \textit{L. M. Saliga}, J. Comput. Appl. Math. 113, No. 1--2, 141--152 (2000; Zbl 0936.54041); \textit{M. A. Ahmed} and \textit{F. M. Zeyada}, Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2010, Article ID 647085, 10 p. (2010; Zbl 1185.47074)].
