Motivated by the work of \textit{D. Devlin} on partition properties of the rationals [Some partition theorems and ultrafilters on $\omega$. Hanover, NH: Dartmout College (PhD Thesis) (1979), \url{http://libarchive.dartmouth.edu/cdm/ref/collection/dcdis/id/110488}], a notion of `big Ramsey structure' is developed for a Fraïssé structure. This is related to the dynamics of the automorphism group of the structure, and specifically to the property of admitting a unique universal completion flow. The arguments involve both set- and model-theoretic notions as well as some novel techniques in abstract topological dynamics. The natural question of whether any topological group admits a unique universal completion flow is one of the intriguing questions left open.
