If $(M,\alpha)$ is a contact manifold and $(\mathbb{R}\times M,d(e^t\alpha))$ is its symplectization, then a submanifold $L\subset(\mathbb{R}\times M,d(e^t\alpha))$ is called an exact, orientable Lagrangian cobordism from a Legendrian link $\Lambda_-$ to another Legendrian link $\Lambda_+$ if $L$ is an exact orientable Lagrangian submanifold, $r_\pm$ are two real numbers such that $L\cap((-\infty,r_-]\times M)=(-\infty,r_-]\times\Lambda_-$, $L\cap([r_+,\infty)\times M)=[r_+,\infty)\times\Lambda_+$, and the primitive of $e^t\alpha$ along $L$ is constant for $t<r_-$ and for $t>r_+$. A Lagrangian cobordism from the empty set to a Legendrian knot $\Lambda$ is called a Lagrangian filling of $\Lambda$. A Legendrian knot is Lagrangian fillable if it has a Lagrangian filling. A Legendrian link admitting a front diagram with exactly two left and two right cusps is called a Legendrian 4-plat. \par The goal of this paper is to characterize which Legendrian 4-plat knots in the standard contact 3-space have exact orientable Lagrangian fillings. The authors prove that a Legendrian 4-plat knot is fillable if and only if each negative band has at most two crossings and each internal band has at least two crossings. As a corollary, they show that if a Legendrian 4-plat knot is fillable, then its underlying smooth knot type is positive.
