Reproducing kernel orthogonal polynomials on the multinomial distribution (Q1740658)

The authors study ``the reproducing kernel orthogonal polynomials \(Q_n(x,y;N,p)\) on the multinomial distribution which are sums of products of orthogonal polynomials in \(x\) and \(y\) of fixed total degree \(n=0,1,\ldots,N\).'' The authors show some properties of Poisson kernel and give a ``duplication formula for the reproducing kernel polynomials''. The authors present statistical applications of the reproducing kernel polynomials.
