Let \(A^p_{\omega}\) be the weighted Bergman space on the unit disk \(\mathbb{D}\), where \(p>1\) and \(\omega\) is the so-called regular weight, i.e., a non-negative radial function \(\omega(z)=\omega(|z|)\) that satisfies some doubling condition and behaving as its integral average over \((r,1)\). Given a positive Borel measure \(\mu\) on \(\mathbb{D}\), the Toeplitz operator associated with \(\mu\) is defined by \[ \mathcal{T}_{\mu}(f)(z) = \int_{\mathbb{D}} f(\zeta)\overline{B^{\omega}_z(\zeta)}\, d_{\mu}(\zeta), \] where \(B^{\omega}_z\) is the reproducing kernel of the weighted Bergman space \(A^2_{\omega}\) at the point \(z\). The authors study the interrelations between the Toeplitz operator \(\mathcal{T}_{\mu}\), Carleson measures, and the Berezin transform \[ \widetilde{\mathcal T}_\mu(z) = \frac{\langle \mathcal T_\mu(B^\omega_z),B^\omega_z \rangle_{A^2_\omega}}{\|B^\omega_z\|^2_{A^2_\omega}}. \] They describe the boundedness and compactness of the Toeplitz operators \(\mathcal{T}_{\mu} : A^p_{\omega} \rightarrow A^q_{\omega}\) for \(1 < p,q<\infty\) as well as the Schatten class Toeplitz operators on \(A^2_{\omega}\). A characterization of the Schatten class composition operators on \(A^2_{\omega}\) also given.
