Let \(G_n\) be a classical \(p\)-adic goup of rank \(n\). In this paper, the author determines the reducibility of the parabolically induced representation \(\text{Ind}_P^G (|\det|^y \rho \otimes T)\), where \(\rho\) is a supercuspidal unitary representation of \(GL(m,F)\), \(y \in \mathbb{R}\), and \(T\) is an irreducible tempered representation of \(G_{n-m}\). The proof relies on the Mœglin-Tadić classification of discrete series representations [J. Am. Math. Soc. 15, No. 3, 715--786 (2002; Zbl 0992.22015)] and the author's extension of the classification to tempered representations [Manuscr. Math. 145, No. 3--4, 319--387 (2014; Zbl 1311.22025 )]. The approach is based on the Jacquet module techniques.
