The authors consider a system of neutral functional differential equations in critical case of the form \[ \begin{aligned} & (x_{1}(t)-x_{2}(t-r_{1}))'=-F_{1}(x_{1}(t))+G_{1}(x_{2}(t-r_{2})),\\ &(x_{2}(t)-x_{1}(t-r_{1}))'=-F_{2}(x_{2}(t))+G_{2}(x_{1}(t-r_{1})), \end{aligned} \] where, \(r_{i}>0\), \(F_{i},G_{i}\in C(R^{1})\) and \(F_{i}\) is strictly increasing for \(i=1,2\). The convergence of all bounded solutions is proved under some suitable assumptions. The obtained results complete the results of [\textit{J. Meng}, Nonlinear Anal., Real World Appl. 11, No. 3, 1634--1639 (2010; Zbl 1209.34090)].
