The \(\lambda\)-theory of operator spaces given by \textit{A. Defant} and \textit{D. Wiesner} [J. Funct. Anal. 266, 5493--5525 (2014; Zbl 1305.46040)] generalized the definitions of the projective, Haagerup and Schur tensor norm in the category of operator spaces. The aim of this paper is to extend this generalization to matrix ordered spaces and Banach \(^\ast\)-algebras. Let \(\phi\) be an \(m\)-linear mapping on \(V_1\times V_2\times\dots\times V_m\) into \(W\), where \(V_1,V_2,\dots,V_m\) and \(W\) are operator spaces. Given a sequence of matrix products \(\lambda=(\lambda_k)\), for each \(k\), \(\lambda_k\) is an \(m\)-linear mapping: \(\lambda_k:M_k\times\dots\times M_k\rightarrow M_{\tau(k)},\) where \(\tau(k)\in\mathbb{N}\) is a natural number only depending on \(k\), tensorizing \(\lambda_k\) with \(\phi\) leads to the \(m\)-linear mapping \(\phi_{\lambda_k}:=\lambda_k\otimes\phi:\) \[ \begin{aligned} M_{k}(V_1)\otimes\dots \otimes M_k(V_m)&\rightarrow M_{\tau(k)}(W),\\ (\alpha_1\otimes v_1,\dots,\alpha_m\otimes v_m)&\mapsto\lambda_k(\alpha_1,\dots,\alpha_m)\otimes\phi(v_1,v_2,\dots,v_m). \end{aligned} \] Moreover, \[ \|\phi\|_{cb,\lambda}:=\sup_{k\in\mathbb{N}}\big\{\|\phi_{\lambda_k}(x_1,\dots,x_m)\|_{M_{\tau(k)}(W)}:\|x_i\|_{M_{k}(V_i)}\leq1\big\} \] and \[ CB_\lambda(V_1,\dots,V_m;W):=\big\{\phi\in L(V_1,\dots,V_m;W):\|\phi\|_{cb,\lambda}<\infty \big\}. \] The map \(\phi_{\lambda_k}\) is represented by \[ \begin{aligned} \bigotimes_{\lambda_k}: \bigotimes_{i=1}^{m} M_{k}(V_i)&\rightarrow M_{\tau(k)}(\bigotimes_{i=1}^{m}V_{i})\\ (\alpha_1\otimes v_1,\dots,\alpha_m\otimes v_m)&\mapsto \lambda_k(\alpha_1,\dots,\alpha_m)\otimes v_1\otimes v_2\otimes\dots\otimes v_m.\end{aligned} \] A tensor norm \(\lambda\) was defined in [Defant and Wiesner, loc.\,cit.]\ and in [\textit{A. Kumar}, Math. Z. 237, 211--217 (2001; Zbl 1035.46040)]. Under certain conditions satisfied by \(\lambda\), the completion \(\bigotimes^\lambda V_i\) of \(\bigotimes_\lambda V_i\) with respect to the \(\|\cdot\|_{\lambda}\) norm is an operator space tensor product denoted by the \(\lambda\)-operator space tensor product in the sense of \textit{D. P. Blecher} and \textit{V. I. Paulsen} [J. Funct. Anal. 99, No. 2, 262--292 (1991; Zbl 0786.46056)]. The authors prove a generalization of \textit{K. H. Han}'s [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 402, No. 2, 463--476 (2013; Zbl 1271.46046)] operator space tensor product matrix regularity results to the \(\lambda\)-theory of operator spaces after introducing three additional conditions on \(\lambda\), the first of which is as follows: \((O_1)\) For each \(r\in\mathbb{N}\), \[ \lambda_r\bigg(\varepsilon_{i_1,j_1}^{[r]},\varepsilon_{i_2,j_2}^{[r]},\dots,\varepsilon_{i_m,j_m}^{[r]} \bigg)=\lambda_r\bigg(\varepsilon_{j_1,i_1}^{[r]},\varepsilon_{j_2,i_2}^{[r]},\dots,\varepsilon_{j_m,i_m}^{[r]} \bigg)^\ast\in M_{\tau(r)}, \] for all \((i_k,j_k)\in\{1,\dots,r\}\times\{1,\dots,r\}\), and \(k=1,2,\dots,m.\) Further, the authors define an appropriate cone structure. They introduce mainly cones related to \(\lambda\) for the algebraic operator space tensor product respecting the matricial structure of matrix regular operators spaces and operator systems, respectively. They also discuss the ideal structure of the \(\lambda\)-tensor product of \(C^\ast\)-algebras.
