Distributional properties of the typical cell of stationary iterated tessellations (Q1762677)

Distributional properties of the typical cell of stationary iterated tessellations are considered. A simulation algorithm without considerations of limits in space is provided to estimate the probability densities of geometric characteristics of the typical cell of stationary iterated tessellations. Main attention is paid to the superposition and nesting of the stationary Poisson line tessellations or stationary Poisson-Voronoi tessellations. Some numerical examples and histograms of related frequencies of the number of vertices, the perimeter and the area of the corresponding typical cells are presented and discussed.
