Abelianization for hyper-Kähler quotients (Q1765334)

For a symplectic manifold \(X\) equipped with a Hamiltonian action of a compact Lie group \(G\) the cohomology of the quotient \(X//G\) can be expressed in terms of the cohomology of the quotient \(X//T\) and the Weyl group \(N(T)/T\), where \(T \subset G\) is a maximal torus. This theorem is generalized for hyper-Kähler (noncompact) quotients from the point of view of \(S^1\)-equivariant cohomology of circle compact manifolds with fixed point sets.
