An indefinite Kähler manifold is a complex manifold \(M\) with a Hermitian metric \(g\) of, necessarily, even signature \(0\leq 2s\leq 2n= \dim_{\mathbb{R}}M\) with closed associated \((1,1)\)-form. Such manifold is said to be of constant holomorphic sectional curvature \(C\) if for any nondegenerate holomorphic plane \(P\) at any point of \(M\) its sectional holomorphic curvature \(H(P)= C\). \(M\) is called an indefinite complex space form, denoted by \(M^n_j(C)\), if it is of constant holomorphic sectional curvature \(C\), complex dimension \(n\) and index \(2s\), \(0< s< n\). Main examples are: the indefinite complex projective space \(\mathbb{C} P^n_s(C)\), the Euclidean space \(\mathbb{C}^n_s\), the indefinite complex hyperbolic space \(\mathbb{C} H^n_s(C)\). The main result of the paper is the following Theorem: Let \(X\) be an \(n\geq 2\)-dimensional space-like Kähler-Einstein submanifold of \(M^{n+P}_P(C)\), \(c< 0\). If the second fundamental form of \(X\) is parallel, then the following hold: (1) If \(P< n/2\), then \(P= 1\) and \(X\) is locally a complex quadratic \(Q^n\). (2) If \(P\geq {1\over 2} n(n+1)\), then \(P= {1\over 2}n(n+1)\) and \(X\) is locally \(\mathbb{C} H^n({C\over 2})\).
