Let \(G\) be a finite group and \(\text{cd}(G)\) the set of irreducible character degrees of \(G\). A finite group \(G\) is called a CCD-group if the nonlinear irreducible character degrees in \(\text{cd}(G)\) are consecutive integers. B. Huppert investigated a special class of CCD-group \(G\) with \(2\in\text{cd}(G)\) [see \textit{B. Huppert}, Character theory of finite groups. de Gruyter Expositions in Mathematics. 25. Berlin: Walter de Gruyter (1998; Zbl 0932.20007), Section 32]. The aim of this paper is to generalize the above theorem and to classify all CCD-groups.
