The authors study the large-time behavior of regularized solutions to the Cauchy problem for the three-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes system. More precisely, the authors analyze two classical regularizations: the Leray regularization ``mollifying'' the nonlinearity, and the Lions regularization adding the artificial hyperviscosity. The main result: the difference between the two models disappears asymptotically as \(t\to\infty\), at least when small solutions are considered.
