This paper deals with properties of the Clebsch-Gordan coefficients of unitary irreducible representations of the extended quantum-mechanical Poincaré group, i.e., the usual Poincaré group extended by the parity (P), charge (C) and time reversal (T) discrete symmetries. As known, there are 16 non-equivalent unitary irreducible representations for the group whenever a given mass and spin are given. Starting from the standard representations \(U_{C}U_{P}=\pm 1\), corresponding to massive bosons and fermions, the author proves that the tensor product of massive unitary irreducible representations again leads to one of these standard representations, thus providing expressions for the Clebsch-Gordan coefficients. Two physically relevant cases are covered, namely particle-antiparticle compositions and composition of particles which coincide with their antiparticle. After discussing additive internal quantum numbers which specify superselection sectors, the decay of particles and the computation of angular correlations (with CP-conservation) is presented. To illustrate this fact, the \(\Upsilon(4S)\) meson is chosen.
