The paper is devoted to two problems of differential Galois theory. Namely, let \(F\) be a differential field of characteristic zero with a field of constants \(K\), it is necessary to determine which linear algebraic groups can appear as differential Galois groups of Picard-Vessiot extensions of this field and if \(F\) has an Picard-Vessiot extension \(L\) with Galois group \(H\) and \(G=N \rtimes H\), then is there an Picard-Vessiot extension \(M\) of \(F\) such that \(M \supset L\) and \(G \cong Gal(M/F)\). If the field of constants \(K\) is not algebraically closed, then little is known even for the field of rational functions \(K(x)\) (see [\textit{A. Bachmayr} et al., ``Large fields in differential Galois theory'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:1710.03183}]). The authors give a positive answer for the field \(k((x, t))\) and any group in the first problem and for the field \(k((t))(x)\) in the second problem.
