A categorical glimpse at the reconstruction of geometries (Q1801619)

Generalizing results of D. G. Higman and J. E. McLaughlin, and H. Freudenthal, the author has given in Arch. Math. 58, No. 6, 621-624 (1992; Zbl 0781.51002) a method to reconstruct certain incidence geometries from their automorphism groups. Here he considers these problems in the frame of categories and succeeds to extend his results onto larger classes of incidence geometries, like partial planes, and geometries of any type.
