Points in generic position and conductor of varieties with ordinary multiple subvarieties of codimension one (Q1805916)

There are two kinds of results proved in this paper. On the one hand, the author generalizes the results of one of his previous papers concerning ordinary multiple points of curves [see \textit{F. Orecchia}, Can. Math. Bull. 24, 423-431 (1981; Zbl 0491.13016)]. On the other hand, he also generalizes some results concerning the conductors of curves with ordinary singularities [see \textit{F. Orecchia}, J. Lond. Math. Soc., II. Ser. 24, 85-96 (1981; Zbl 0492.14017)] to ordinary multiple subvarieties of codimension one.
