Factorization of proper holomorphic mappings through Thullen domains (Q1805970)

Let \[ E_k:= \bigl\{(z,w) \in\mathbb{C}^2: |z|^{2k} +|w |^2<1 \bigr\}(k\in\mathbb{N},\;k\geq 1) \] be a Thullen domain, \[ B^2=E_1 \text{ the open unit ball}, \] \[ \varphi_k: E_k\to B^2,\;(z,w)\mapsto (z^k,w). \] The authors study proper holomorphic mappings \(f:D\to B^2\) where \(D\) is a bounded simply connected pseudoconvex domain in \(\mathbb{C}^2\) with a real analytic boundary. They give a sufficient condition that \(f\) can be factorized by a mapping \(\varphi_k\) and a condition that \(D\) is biholomorphically equivalent to a Thullen domain \(E_k\). The authors work with technics of \(CR\) hypersurfaces.
