The Oszváth-Schücking anti-Mach metric [see \textit{D. Kramer}, \textit{H. Stephani}, \textit{M. MacCallum} and \textit{E. Herlt}, Exact solutions of Einstein's field equations (1980; Zbl 0449.53018), eq. 10.13], after some coordinate changes, is studied on the basis of a simply transitive subgroup \(M\) of its isometry group, together with other left-invariant metrics which admit this subgroup. The fact of geodesic completeness of the anti-Mach metric is reestablished (Lemma 1), the stable causality (Lemma 2) and non-uniformity of the latter property (Lemma 3) are proved, Lemmata 2 and 3 comprising a corresponding theorem. The authors follow a scheme of study of causal structure of homogeneous Lorentz manifolds, developed by \textit{A. V. Levichev} [Sib. Math. J. 31, No. 3, 395-408 (1990); translation from Sib. Mat. Zh. 31, No. 3(181), 39-54 (1990; Zbl 0713.53035)].
