A dynamical problem of Reissner-Sagoci type for a nonhomogeneous elastic half-space (Q1815058)

The problem considered is of Reissner-Sagoci type for a time-periodic rotational displacement in a circular area on the boundary of a non-homogeneous semi-infinite elastic medium whose density and shear modulus vary exponentially with depth. Using the theory of dual integral equations, the problem is reduced to the solution of Fredholm integral equation of the second kind.
